

Washington's character could easily fill that new hole in her life. Since McCall's former mentor, William Bishop, was written out of the show after Chris Noth was fired from The Equalizer, Latifah's character has been struggling to balance her family and her work. One possibility could be for Robert to step in briefly as Robyn's new mentor. While Latifah is open to the idea of Washington appearing in a future season of The Equalizer, she gives no mention of how the two Equalizers could connect.

Considering both Latifah and Washington have made names for themselves as masterful performers, her confidence is well-earned.
